Horton Baptist Church is a Christ-centered, Bible-believing church with a rich history of over 150 years! Our Church family consists of approximately 85 faithful members and attenders. Our purpose is to bring glory to God and edification to the believer through corporate worship, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and community outreach. Our worship reflects both traditional and contemporary styles. The Horton Baptist Church people are diverse and welcoming, so don't just visit; come join our family as we "...grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ" (2nd Peter 3:18). Pastor: Stephen Moore

Stephen graduated from Faith Baptist Bible College and Theological Seminary in 2006. He has been preaching and speaking, however, for several years. Ellen graduated college with a degree in nursing. They have two sons, Samuel and Benjamin.

Both have been actively involved in ministry, including Missions work and Speaking at Iowa Regular Baptist Camp. They really enjoy working with Youth.

The family moved from Manning to Horton in July 2008.
